Dr Thaker and Phaze Laser Med Spa have partnered with Epionce to offer an array of products for home use as well as our office use during esthetic procedures such as chemical peels and facials.
What is a cosmeceutical?
This is a nick name mostly to indicate a cross between a cosmetic product and a pharmaceutical. We do not use this term as it is generally not a pharmaceutical or ”drug” at all however! Such a product however usually is only offered through a physician’s office, so may indicate high quality. Cosmetics at retail stores are generally may not be equivalent to high grade skin care offered through M. D. offices. Also, at our office, we tailor a skin program just for you! You may here this term used on the internet. It just means a high grade skin care product such as found in our cosmetic surgery and med spa practice.
What are the essential or best products to buy?
For most of our clients we tailor a skin care program just for them using our highly select other brands such as Epionce. Most important would be an SPF sun screen, and a hydrating agent or moisturizer, that we select just for you. The other aspects depend on your skin condition. They can include creams, lotions or serums for pigmentation issues, dry skin, acne, redness, and even specific problems such as rosacea or melasma.
How do Epionce and other products we offer work?
Dr Thaker selected Epionce due to their success with sensitive skin types. We can provide a skin care regimene that is designed just for you as well as product literature if needed. This is something missed by retail sales at store fronts.
What else can I do for healthy skin?
Stay hydrated, eat healthy! Maintain your health through frequent routine visits to your own physicians.
Beyoned esthetician services, do you offer medical services for skin health?
We tailor a plan just for you. We can combined this plan with an M. D. visit here with Dr Thaker (by appointment only.) This is if you request a medical evaluation here. This is a service apart from our esthetician services, as our estheticians do not give medical advice. Dr Thaker has extensive experience with skin health, ranging from thousands of wound healing surgeries, to removal of problem skin lesions (surgical excision, freezing, burning/cautery), medication management, and cosmetic surgeries we offer today.
